About the Role

Performs objective assessments and develops individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients under supervision. Responsible for providing direct supervision to patients and indirect supervision to rehabilitation technicians, as well as general supervision of PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments and create treatment plans.
  • Supervise patients and support staff.
  • Adhere to departmental policies and standards.
  • Perform physical activities including lifting up to 50 lbs and prolonged standing.

Requirements

  • Valid state license in Physical Therapy (Bachelor, Master’s, or Doctorate).
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Ability to push, pull, lift, stand, walk, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed.

Qualifications

Preferred experience of 6 months to 1 year in rehabilitation, especially with adult and geriatric populations.
