Outpatient Patient Service Representative, Walk-In Care Clinic (Full Time) **Shift Differentials**

Schedule

• Business Hours: Monday - Friday (7am-7pm), Weekends (9am-6:30pm)
• Variable shifts: Opening, mid, and closing shifts (4 - 10 hour shifts per week)
• Weekend rotation: Generally every 4th weekend
• Holidays: Approximately 1–2 holidays per year
• Flexibility: Schedule may vary based on clinic needs

Responsibilities

• Performs customer service functions in the medical office setting
• Demonstrates ability to deal with pressure, meet deadlines, and handle constantly changing situations
• Manages interactions with a variety of people, stressful situations, and conflict
• Performs all assigned job duties and tasks
• Follows and adheres to all licensing board or agency requirements, regulations, and procedures
• Complies with all Benefis Health System organization policies and procedures

Requirements

• High School Graduate or Equivalent
• Minimum of two (2) years medical office experience preferred
• Previous experience with health insurance and patient billing preferred
• Completion of medical terminology course required within 30 days of hire/transfer
• Completion of Clarivate Patient Access II Education Packet within 3 months of hire/transfer

Pay

Starting wage: $18.64/hour. Actual offered wage is based on applicable experience.
