Outpatient Occupational Therapist | Pediatrics | Sign-on Bonus Eligible

About the role

Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a fulltime Outpatient Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join their team. This role focuses on caring for a pediatric population in La Crosse, WI and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatment to help support children and teens in developing physical, cognitive, sensory, and social-emotional skills.
• Create a care plan that identifies individual goals, age-specific activities, and milestones for each follow-up session.
• Help children and teens meet developmental milestones, overcome sensory challenges, improve self-care, play, and self-regulation skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
• Wisconsin Occupational Therapy License
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers
• Pediatric OT experience including pediatric-sensory, feeding, and ADLs

• Passion for working with a pediatric population

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy techniques and interventions

Pay

Starting salary of $71,697 and up, commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Fulltime, 80 hours biweekly (1.0 FTE), Monday – Friday day shifts, shifts vary by day between the hours of 7a-5:30p, no weekends or holidays. Hour long appointment/visit lengths, schedule allows for up to 35 patients/week.
