Outpatient Occupational Therapist
Responsibilities
- Schedule / Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM with paid 30-minute lunch
- Hours per week: 32–40 hours
- Contract length: Immediate start through August 2026
- Key Duties:
- Provide occupational therapy evaluations, treatment planning, and interventions for pediatric outpatient clients
- Deliver diagnostic, consultative, and therapeutic services in accordance with clinical standards
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support patient outcomes
- Perform additional duties as assigned within the outpatient pediatric setting
- Education Required: Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Licenses & Certifications Required: Active Illinois Occupational Therapist license through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation
- Preferred: Experience in inpatient pediatrics and/or NICU settings
- Minimum 1–2 years of pediatric occupational therapy experience preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively in an outpatient pediatric healthcare environment
- Knowledge of pediatric therapy practices, treatment planning, and patient care standards
