Outpatient Occupational Therapist

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans for patients with orthopedic and neurological diagnoses.
• Provide specialized interventions including manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, therapeutic exercise, and custom splinting.
• Treat patients with conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome, tendon injuries, stroke, traumatic brain injury, and Parkinson’s disease.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home programs and adaptive strategies to support long-term recovery.
• Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and other care team members to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with BayCare and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• OT (Occupational Therapy) Or OT (Occupational Therapy) Eligible to obtain
• Required Bachelor's Occupational Therapy
• PREFERRED 1-year Occupational Therapy
• Facility: BayCare Health System, Rehab Services Op II-MCH
• Location: Mease Countryside - Safety Harbor, FL
