Outpatient MRI Technologist | Full-Time Flex| Stoney Batter

About the role

ChristianaCare is a nonprofit health system dedicated to providing excellent health care services through partnerships with patients and their families. This position involves performing MRI and X-ray examinations, as well as clerical duties, and requires superior customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Performing MRI examinations.
• Performing X-ray examinations, as necessary.

Requirements

• MRI Technologist—experience required.
• ARRT Registered Technologist required.
• ARRT Advanced MRI Certification required within 2 years of hire.
• Soarian training required.
• Excellent customer service/telephone skills required.
• Flexibility in hours is required.
• Flexibility in duties is required.
• Able to work independently.

Qualifications

• Completion of ARRT registry in radiologic technology required (two-year accredited program).
• Completion of ARRT registry in MRI required (achieved within two years of hire).
• State Licensure on Radiation Protection is required.
• Completion of formal and/or on the job training on cross sectional anatomy.
• An Associates degree is required; candidates are required to obtain their Associates of Science degree (can be substituted within a related field), within three (3) years of their start date as outlined in the Education Agreement required to be signed as a condition of employment.
• Certification in CPR.
• Yearly PEEPS certification required for proper and safe positioning and transfer of patients.

Pay

This position pays $37.38 to $51.40 based on relevant experience. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.

Schedule

May rotate to all CCIS locations when needed. Shift Hours: Dayshift Other hours as needed.
