About the role

We are looking to hire an Outpatient Mental Health Therapist for Ellie Mental Health - Norwalk-Darien. This position is full-time, hybrid where you choose your own schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluating mental health diagnoses and implementing treatment plans.
  • Maintaining updated documentation using company platforms and EHR.
  • Average of 25 client (full-time) sessions per week to a diverse population of clients.
  • Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community.
  • Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals.
  • Care coordination for assigned clients to ensure continuity of care.
  • Participation in clinical staff meetings, trainings, supervision, and community outreach.

Requirements

  • Candidates are required to have a master’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university.
  • Clinical licensure in the state of Connecticut (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PsyD, PhD) in good standing.
  • Experience with completing intake assessments, treatment plans, and clinical case notes.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients.
  • Ability to complete and submit documentation of services in a timely manner.
  • Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base.
  • General knowledge of community resources and insurance billing.
  • Comfort with and/or willingness to learn and engage in the client collections process.
  • General knowledge of Apple products, EHR, Telehealth, and other software platforms.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
