Outpatient Imaging Scheduler, SAMF Breast Care Center, Full Time

About the role

Reporting to the SAMF Manager OP Imaging Center, this position is responsible for performing routine and specialized Mammographic and Breast Ultrasonic examinations, procedures, and interventional breast procedures. The role includes providing patient care and radiologist assistance during these examinations and procedures.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Current CRT certification in Radiology and Mammography in the State of California
• Must meet MQSA required qualifications for digital and 3D Mammography
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card
• Recent Mammography, Breast Ultrasound, and Interventional Breast experience
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of breast anatomy, pathological processes, Mammography QC, and their practical application
• Ability to exercise independent judgment in evaluating the quality of screening/diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, specialized breast examinations/procedures/biopsies, and PACS examinations/procedures
• Ability to relate professionally to patients, physicians, the public, and other healthcare providers, demonstrating excellent oral and written communication skills and customer service orientation
• Active participation as a resource to all Breast Center staff

Qualifications (Preferred)

• Advanced ARRT in Mammography
• ACR staff qualifications for Stereotactic Breast Biopsy and Breast Ultrasound Biopsy

Pay

Pay Range: $41.99 - $58.78 per hour
