Outpatient Clinician - Intensive Outpatient Program ($3,000 Sign on Bonus)

About the role

New River Valley Community Services is seeking compassionate and dedicated clinicians to join our Outpatient Team. The ideal candidate will provide individual and group therapy sessions, including working with our Intensive Outpatient Program for individuals with substance use disorders. This role offers essential support and guidance to clients through assessment, goal setting, and recovery support.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions
• Collaborate with clients to set achievable goals
• Support clients in their recovery journey
• Work with the Intensive Outpatient Program for substance use disorders

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or other license-eligible Human Services field
• Virginia Licensure as a Professional Counselor, Clinical Social Worker, or Marriage and Family Therapist preferred
• At least one year of clinical experience working with individuals with substance use disorders, mental illness, developmental and/or intellectual disabilities
