New clients schedule directly through our online system or are matched and scheduled by our dedicated client care team. Billing and collections are managed by another dedicated team to ensure prompt insurance claim processing.

Responsibilities
- Evaluate mental health diagnoses, create and implement treatment plans, and complete ongoing documentation (diagnoses, treatment plan reviews, and case notes) according to company policy.
- For full-time clinicians: maintain a minimum caseload of 27 client visits per week (monthly target of 110 sessions).
- Utilize creative interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals.
- Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session per company guidelines.
- Coordinate services with case managers, families, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed.
- Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in behavioral sciences or a related field from an accredited college or university.
- On track to obtain licensure in your designated field (e.g., LMFT, LCPC, LCSW).
- Required experience with completing diagnostic assessments (DAs), treatment plans, and clinical case notes.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients.
- Ability to complete and submit documentation in a timely manner.
- Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base.
- Proficient in office technology (computers, email) and Electronic Health Record systems (Valant experience a plus).
- Ability to pass a background check.
Preferred Qualifications
- Fully licensed mental health professional (LCSW, LMFT, LCPC) with a valid Illinois license (supervision available for LSW, LPC, and other professionals).
- Experience with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.
- General knowledge of therapy services, community resources, insurance billing, and mental health documentation.
- Fully licensed clinicians credentialed with insurance panels.
