Outpatient Behavioral Health Therapist, FT, $7,500 Sign-On Bonus

About the role

The therapist reports directly to the Director of Outpatient Behavioral Health Service.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited college or university with a master’s degree in social work, counseling or related field (must be independently licensed to practice in Arkansas).
• Licensed in Arkansas as a Mental Health Professional with at least two years post-master’s experience in psychiatric or mental health setting.
• Must have completed hospital and clinic orientation period in order to act as a team leader.

• Be readily adaptable to changing physician/practice demands, without deterioration under stress.
• Have a basic concept of customer service, scheduling, and counseling.
• Possess demonstrated knowledge, training and skills necessary and appropriate to the patient-specific population.
• Set priorities and effectively delegate/coordinate interdisciplinary care based on the needs of the patient and clinic.

Ability to function with minimum supervision and interface appropriately with healthcare team.
