Outpatient and Retail Pharmacy Technicians

About the role

Regions Hospital is seeking Pharmacy Technicians to join their Outpatient and Retail teams. They are a community dedicated to providing compassionate care accessible to all. This posting is for multiple outpatient or retail roles with various FTEs and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Work under supervision of pharmacy managers, supervisors, lead pharmacists, and certified lead pharmacy technicians to assist in pharmaceutical provision to customers.
• Provide customer service to internal and external customers.
• Accurately fill and label medication orders in assigned areas.
• Assist with inventory management to ensure correct on-hand counts in computer systems, check for outdated products, and maintain adequate supplies.
• Maintain records in compliance with legal requirements, department policies, and procedures.
• Safeguard the department’s cleanliness and orderliness at all times.

Requirements

• Current registration as a pharmacy technician with the Minnesota State Board of Pharmacy.
• Current national certification through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board or National Healthcareer Association.
• Completion of an accredited program for pharmacy technicians or completion of Minnesota Board of Pharmacy technician training requirements if registered after January 1st, 2013.
• Six months of related experience in a hospital, community, or institutional pharmacy.

Pay

• Certified Pharmacy Technician: Full salary range is $24.85-$32.23 per hour, based on years of experience, plus shift differentials.
• Pharmacy Technician: Full salary range is $23.17-$30.04 per hour, based on years of experience, plus shift differentials.

This is a pipeline posting that will be used to fill multiple FTEs and shifts working in Saint Paul, MN.
