Essential Functions

• Create an atmosphere that induces guests to choose Hard Rock Casino Bristol for gaming entertainment.
• Build and retain guest relations and act as a mentor to team members.
• Greet each guest and provide superior guest service for all company Food and Beverage operations.
• Maintain a pleasant and courteous attitude.
• Complete all opening and closing duties.
• Aid bussers in setting tables with clean dishes, glasses, and flatware.
• Present menu to guests, suggest courses, appropriate drinks, and answer questions about food preparation.
• Offer drinks and take food and beverage orders.
• Show basic knowledge of all house and call liquor.
• Serve meals to patrons according to established rules or etiquette, working in a family or formal setting.
• Check for quality after each course.
• Refill drinks when needed.
• Maintain clean ashtrays.
• Buss tables as needed.
• Remove dirty dishes and glassware from guest’s tables during and after each course.
• Total bill, present check, collect payment, and take it to the cashier.
• Aid bussers in clearing tables and dirty dishes, glasses, and flatware.
• Transport dish cart to and from service station/steward’s station.
• Stock server stations with necessary items.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas, including carpeted and tiled floors, furniture, and waitress stations.
• Re-supply guest tables, venue areas, and waitress stations with backup glasses, silverware, and dishes.
• Adhere to sanitation standards as outlined by State Law and company.
• Maximize profit and guest satisfaction through effective cost controls.
• Work considerately with team members from all departments.
• Check out with supervisor before leaving at the end of shift.

Additional Requirements

• Must have valid Food Handlers Card, Liquor License, and Gaming Badge when working.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
• Must be able to withstand noisy and smoke-filled environments.
• Must be able to stand 50% of shift, walk 45% of shift, and sit 5% of shift.
