Outlet Host/Hostess - Hard Rock Cafe

About the Role

As the first point of contact for guests, you’ll create an atmosphere that makes Hard Rock Bristol the preferred choice for gaming entertainment. You’ll greet guests warmly, arrange seating, and ensure they feel welcome and comfortable while maintaining high service standards. This role also involves building guest relations, mentoring team members, and supporting overall guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly, courteous manner and arrange for seating.
• Monitor room atmosphere and provide information about Hard Rock Bristol’s services and facilities.
• Quote accurate waiting times and manage guest waiting lists or reservations per established procedures.
• Assist guests with inquiries, requests, and needs, such as refilling beverages or condiments.
• Set up tables with dishes, linen, flatware, and other necessities as required.
• Support wait staff with tray service and other tasks as needed.
• Attend and participate in meetings, completing follow-up tasks as assigned.
• Perform work regularly and predictably, including other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
• Must obtain and maintain all required licenses/certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming/Lottery regulations.
• Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
• Two months of on-the-job training or related cashier/host experience (education and experience may be interchangeable).

Skills

• Excellent customer service skills with an outgoing, enthusiastic, and professional demeanor.
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees and guests at all levels.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts and schedules as needed.
• Ability to restock materials and retrieve dropped items.

Pay

$14 - $19 per hour.
