OUTLET BUSSER/BACK WAITER

About the role

Watermark BR, located in downtown Baton Rouge, is seeking part-time Outlet Bussers (Server Assistants) to support the Servers and Bartenders. The role reports to the Restaurant Manager and Food & Beverage Director.

Responsibilities

• Filling breadbaskets, watering glasses, cleaning empty plates, and replenishing table supplies.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of tables with clean china, glassware, silverware, and linen.
• Working with servers to maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, and sanitation.
• Approaching all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Providing water and bread service throughout the meal duration.
• Assisting with the service of coffee, tea, and other non-alcoholic beverages.
• Clearing, sanitizing, and resetting tables in assigned sections according to restaurant standards and sanitation guidelines.
• Keeping work areas clean and properly stocked during meal periods.
• Completing opening and closing duties and cleaning in accordance with established checklists.
• Moving dishes, silverware, and glasses from hotel public areas, including guest room floors.
• Fostering a strong, team-oriented work environment and exceeding industry standards for service and hospitality.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a hotel or related field.
• RV Server Permit and Parish ABC Card.

• Knowledgeable about all food and non-alcoholic beverage menus.
• Ability to answer questions confidently.
