Outdoor Skilled Laborer - 1st shift

About the role

Perform all required duties to pre-punch or pre-drilled holes at splice section of steel bridge girders. Match mark plates, as necessary. Walk with and guide the MI Jack; chain products to trucks; set blocking for loading and storing products. Assist with onside iron work duties. Use electric drills to drill holes where needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Willingness to work outdoors, 100% of the time, in all weather conditions
• Valid PA driver's license
• Ability to read, write, and follow directions

Qualifications

• Previous steel erection (iron worker) or general laborer experience preferred
• Experience using hand and power tools, including drills
• Forklift certification desired, or willingness to obtain while on the job
• Prior experience in truck driving preferred
• Willingness to learn and operate Mi-Jack equipment
