About the role
Will perform all required duties to pre-punch or pre-drilled holes at splice section of steel bridge girders. Will match mark plates, as necessary. Will walk with and guide the MI Jack; chain products to trucks; set blocking for loading and storing products. Will assist with onside iron work duties. Will be responsible to use electric drills to drill holes where needed.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED
- Willingness work outdoors, 100% of the time, in all weather conditions, is required
- Previous steel erection (iron worker) or general laborer experience preferred
- Experience using hand and power tools, include drills
- Forklift certification desired, or willingness to obtain while on the job
- The ability to read, write, and follow directions
- Prior experience in truck driving preferred
- Willingness to learn and operate Mi-Jack equipment
- A valid PA driver's license is required
