Outdoor Recreation Assistant - Casual

About the role

We are looking to recruit casual outdoor recreation assistants who are customer-oriented, capable support staff to join our friendly team. You will work across various park sites in the borough, supporting formal sports and events bookings.

This casual post is on a weekly rota with the majority of work being at weekends. You are not guaranteed any hours of work.

Responsibilities

• Dealing with customer enquiries
• Overseeing formal sports and events bookings at park sites
• Liaising with users
• Undertaking banking duties
• Maintaining a high standard of site cleanliness
• Following health and safety procedures

Where appropriate, training opportunities may be available throughout the season.

• Ability to work as part of a team

Appointment to this post will be subject to the outcome of an Enhanced Disclosure obtained through the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
