Outdoor Cannabis Cultivation Technician

This role is based at our outdoor grow in Grantsville, Utah. From there, you may have the opportunity to transition to a long-term permanent position at our Supply facility in Centerville, Utah during the winter season when the outdoor grow is inoperable.
Responsibilities
- Meet cultivation goals and objectives while maintaining quality assurance standards and protocols
- Basic cultivation maintenance and cleaning tasks
- Deleafing, lollipopping, trellis netting, and room cleaning
- Loading and unloading materials, supplies, and waste
- Learning and following all Standard Operating Procedures and Safety Rules
- Follow and complete tasks in an efficient and consistent manner
- Follow regulatory guidelines
- Create a positive work environment
- Arrive on time and have reliable forms of transportation
- Adhere to safe handling practices and manage inventory effectively
- Clean and organize tools and equipment
- All other tasks assigned
Requirements
- Minimum High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Ability to pass a federal background check and obtain proper licensing with state agencies to handle medical cannabis
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must have a food handlers permit
- Cannabis industry experience preferred but not necessary
- Experience in horticulture, agriculture, or manufacturing preferred but not necessary
- Ability to work and be adaptable under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated, methodical, versatile, mechanically inclined
- Must have the ability to push, pull, or lift a minimum of 50 pounds on a daily basis
- Ability to remain compliant with all applicable laws as well as company SOPs and guidelines
- Ability to communicate effectively via email, phone calls, text, or any other methods frequently used within the company
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to work beyond regularly scheduled hours of work as needed to meet production deadlines
- Basic computer skills (i.e., email, Excel)
- Ability to stand or sit for 8-12 hours
Pay
$17 per hour
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 7:00 am - 3:00 pm, with occasional weekends and holidays.

- 2 weeks accrued annually during the first two years of employment
