About the Company

Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together. We're building one place where your knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools live side by side, so work is faster, clearer, and less fragmented. Millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work on Notion. Notinos (our employees) are customer zero in bringing this future of work to life. We care about craft, building things that last, and the belief that great work is still fundamentally human. Our goal isn’t to ship the next feature. Each and every team of Notinos is working to set the standard for how humans work together in the AI era.

About the Role

Notion’s global Outcomes organization is focused on helping customers achieve business objectives with Notion. As the Growth Strategy & Programs Lead, you will help design and scale the programs, operating rhythms, and cross-functional initiatives that make install-base growth more explosive and repeatable globally. This is a high-impact strategy and programs role. You will create the clarity, structure, and execution systems that help the business grow existing customers more deliberately. You will bring analytical rigor to how we understand growth, translate insights into scalable programs, and help teams execute with consistency while still allowing for local market nuance.

The ideal candidate is equally comfortable building a model, writing a crisp recommendation, aligning executive stakeholders, and turning a strategy into a practical field motion. This role will be based in San Francisco. We work from our offices on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays (our Anchor Days) because we do our best thinking and building together in person. We’re looking for someone who’s excited to work alongside the team during those days.

In Your First 90 Days

  • Learn Notion's post-sales operating model, regional execution model, and current install-base growth priorities.
  • Partner with RevOps, Data Science, Finance, Sales, Outcomes, and Services leaders to develop a practical view of the key drivers and leading indicators behind retention and expansion.
  • Identify a focused set of priority growth programs or plays to support the business in the near term.
  • Build the initial program plans, success metrics, stakeholder map, and operating cadence for those priority initiatives.
  • Partner with regional teams to understand how global programs should be adapted for local execution.
  • Create clear documentation, field-facing materials, and executive-ready updates that help teams align and act.
  • Establish a repeatable rhythm for reviewing progress, capturing learnings, and improving.

Responsibilities

  • Help build a clear, shared view of the drivers behind expansion and adoption across Notion's customer base.
  • Design and scale global programs that support customer adoption, value realization, cross-sell, upsell, and durable growth.
  • Partner with regional and functional leaders to turn local learnings into repeatable playbooks, programs, and operating cadences.
  • Create measurement, reporting, and review mechanisms that help teams understand what is working and where to focus.
  • Support the design of customer growth motions that connect Sales, Services, and Partners.
  • Help codify best practices so growth becomes part of the standard operating rhythm, not a set of one-off campaigns.
  • Bring structure to ambiguous, cross-functional initiatives and drive them from idea to operational execution.

Requirements

  • Experience in management consulting, investment banking, business operations, or post-sales GTM operations.
  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills; you can turn ambiguous business questions into clear frameworks, insights, and recommendations.
  • Proven ability to design and manage cross-functional programs from strategy through execution.
  • Strong stakeholder management across senior leaders and operating teams, with the ability to align people around a shared plan.
  • Excellent written communication, including crisp strategy docs, program plans, executive updates, and field-facing materials.
  • Comfort working in a global organization where programs need a strong central strategy and room for regional adaptation.
  • Ability to operate autonomously, prioritize effectively, and bring structure to fast-moving, ambiguous work.
  • Strong business judgment and curiosity about what drives customer adoption, retention, and expansion.

Nice to Haves

  • Familiarity with usage-based, consumption-based, or product-led growth models.
  • Experience building or scaling global programs across multiple regions or customer segments.
  • Exposure to pricing, packaging, services, partners, or monetization initiatives.

Pay

The estimated base salary range for this role is $250k - $280k per year.
