Outbound - Warehouse Associate I

About the role

Responsible for receiving and processing incoming products, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping orders, and managing stock within the assigned department.

Schedule

Part-time, Sunday–Tuesday, 12:00 PM–8:45 PM

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick parts
• Weigh product using the proper scales
• Check part numbers and quantities with a high degree of accuracy
• Accurately pack orders into shipping cartons, verifying all components of the order are accounted for the correct customer
• Read customer order notes and fill orders with any special customer requirements
• Unload freight and check in product
• Stock parts in the proper location
• Maintain stock and shipping supplies
• Assist in counting physical inventory; perform inventory audits as needed
• Notify Department Lead or Department Supervisor of any stock shelf issues
• Report defective materials/product, shortages, and/or questionable conditions to the Lead or Supervisor
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and orderliness
• Follow all safety rules
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Similar job experience preferred
• RF handheld experience preferred
• Strong proficiency in English communication (reading, writing, and verbal interactions) required for complying with safety protocols and operational procedures

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to stand and walk on level surfaces for prolonged periods
• Frequently required to talk and hear; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms above shoulder height and below the waist
• Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. 70% of the day and up to 65 lbs. 30% of the day
