About the role
Friday through Sunday, 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., $23.07 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Review order details and confirm item numbers on outbound delivery orders
- Verify product and model numbers
- Print and apply labels to containers in preparation for shipment
- Prepare products for shipment and occasionally load outbound trucks
- Follow Hazmat/IATA procedures for proper handling of hazardous materials in global shipping
- Resolve communication and compliance concerns; escalate issues to supervisor and management
- Maintain accurate inventory of orders to customers and businesses
- Process returns: unload trucks manually and with pallet jacks; partner with Quality to return product to inventory or process customer refunds
- Sweep, dispense trash, and clean aisles and trailer/containers of debris
- Stack and unstack pallets to avoid trip hazards
Required Skills and Experience
- Basic math and computer knowledge
- Ability to read and follow SOP instructions for stacking pallets correctly
- Ability to use manual or motorized pallet jack
- Ability to lift 5–50 lbs or team lift 50+ lbs throughout the shift
- Ability to squat, bend, stoop, turn, twist, and move forward, backward, and side to side
- Knowledge of operating a wrap machine (preferred)
- Ability to pass all pre-employment screening and drug test
Preferred Skills and Experience
- 1 year of experience using tracking programs such as SAP and basic office equipment (copier, printers, fax, etc.)
- 1 year of computer experience
