Outbound Team Lead

Responsibilities

• Leading and supervising a team of warehouse associates during the outbound process
• Assigning work and monitoring productivity to ensure daily shipping goals are met
• Overseeing order picking, packing, staging, and loading of outbound shipments
• Ensuring orders are accurate, complete, and shipped according to customer and carrier requirements
• Monitoring labor allocation and adjusting staffing based on workload and priorities
• Coaching, training, and developing team members while providing performance feedback
• Enforcing safety policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality standards
• Investigating and resolving shipping errors, inventory discrepancies, and operational issues
• Coordinating with Inventory Control, Inbound, Transportation, Quality, and Operations leadership to maintain workflow

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years' experience
• Demonstrated Shipping experience in a fast paced distribution center environment
• Proficient computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Safety knowledge
