Key Responsibilities
- Sales and Revenue Generation: Actively identify and pursue new sales opportunities by developing and implementing effective strategies to achieve Syracuse Banana Wholesale's business goals. Negotiate and close deals that meet or exceed sales targets. Drive sustainable growth through strategic account acquisition and optimized pricing strategies.
- Market Research and Analysis: Identify trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences. Establish KPIs and report to sales and executive teams.
- Sales Strategy Implementation: Work with the Sales Director to establish short- and long-term objectives. Drive upselling and cross-selling initiatives by identifying customers’ needs and offering solutions. Monitor, analyze, and report growth goals.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience selling food products.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Excellent ability to manage and build relationships
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed acquisition goals
- Advanced skills in communicating, selling, and negotiating
- Unrelenting drive to understand and meet prospective customer needs
- Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficiency in ProducePro is highly desired
