Outbound Quality Control - 1st Shift

About the role

Inspect, check, test and package product to required specifications. Pick and pack orders. Complete departmental documentation. Calculate total footage for production orders.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test products according to established standards.
• Pick and pack orders accurately.
• Complete necessary documentation for each order.
• Calculate total footage for production orders.

Requirements

• Ability to perform basic math functions (add, subtract, multiply and divide) on various units of measures.
• Ability to apply basic math functions to whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Ability to make sound judgments on operational procedures and product quality.
• Ability to make appropriate decisions in regards to problem-solving and product quality.
• Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to see small defects and differentiate colors during in-process quality control procedures.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Requires high manual dexterity and fine motor skills in both hands.
• Must be able to walk the facility regularly and remain on feet for the majority of the shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1-2 years prior experience in a manufacturing facility.

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
