Outbound Loader

Responsibilities

• Lifts and unloads shipments as required, handling items weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Loads trucks according to truck mapping and special instructions.
• Packs product to avoid damage and maintain load stability.
• Wraps pallets using machines or by hand to ensure stability.
• Unloads and cleans trucks as necessary.
• Operates stock trucks and mechanical jacks safely throughout the plant.
• Prepares products for shipment by weighing, handling, and transporting as needed.
• Marks, addresses, loads, and packs products for proper delivery and condition.
• Complies with all safety regulations and standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 3 months of warehouse experience preferred.
• 3 months experience operating an electric pallet jack or forklift preferred.
• Previous experience at Sysco or in foodservice industry preferred.
• Must be 18+ years of age.

• Passes pre-employment testing including Drug Screen, Background Check, and Physical Abilities Test.
• Displays safety awareness, adaptability, quality orientation, and managing work skills.
• Able to read, write, and communicate effectively, relevant to the job and safety regulations.
