Description
This is an warehouse position responsible for loading pre-assembled merchandise/pallets and master containers for shipment or transporting on delivery vehicles as directed under general supervision.
Essential Skills and Knowledge
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Basic arithmetic skills.
- Good physical stamina.
Essential Duties
- Limits: Loads and unloads shipments as required; constant lifting of boxes weighing up to 100 pounds each.
- Limits: Loads trucks according to truck mapping and special instructions.
- Limits: Loads product in a manner to avoid damages and maintain load stability to insure driver safety.
- Limits: Wraps pallets by machine or hand to insure stability.
- Limits: Unloads and cleans out trucks as necessary
- Limits: Operates stock trucks and mechanical jacks throughout the plant constantly in a safe manner.
- Limits: Prepares products for shipment under general supervision by weighing, handling and transporting as necessary.Marks, addresses, loads, and packs product for proper delivery and condition.
- Limits: Hand loads product onto trucks as required
- Limits: Complies with all safety regulations and standards.
Minimum Qualifications
- 18+ years of age
- Ability to work on Sundays
- Ability to work nights
Preferred Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 3 months warehouse experience and/or 3 months operating an electric pallet jack or forklift and/or a history of physical nature roles preferred

Physical Demands
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk and hear. The employee may have to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities that may be required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
Work Environment
- Exposure to elements such as noises, loud signals, cold, heat, heights and constant movement of vehicles/power jacks.
