About the Role

As a key member of the DFW team, you will play an integral part in helping Enovis drive the medical technology industry forward through transforming patient care and creating better patient outcomes. This position performs a variety of moderate physical and mainly administrative tasks involved with the distribution of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. You will assist in coordinating the general operations of the warehouse and receiving area.

Responsibilities

• Unpack and check goods received against purchase orders or invoices; maintain records of received goods.
• Reject unsatisfactory, damaged, or defective items.
• Lift or move heavy items; operate forklifts, hand trucks, hoists, conveyors, and other equipment to move or expedite material to proper department or storage location.
• Prepare and maintain records of shipped merchandise; post weights and shipping charges; prepare goods for final shipment.
• Examine stocks and distribute materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines; prepare packages for assembly.
• Promote a safety culture with warehousing personnel to ensure a safe work environment; reinforce safe behavior throughout the site, especially in the warehouse area.
• Coordinate and lead key projects for improvement across all levels of the organization; collaborate with teams to re-engineer processes.
• Embrace EGX concepts to teach and lead training and continuous improvement activities.
• Monitor and control inventory integrity; research inventory discrepancies, report, and request inventory adjustments.
• Perform, designate, and report cycle counts; lead corrective actions as needed.
• Provide training and coaching to junior staff on complex support tasks requiring a higher level of understanding.
• Escalate issues to supervisor as necessary; assist with various projects as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 2 – 4 years’ related experience.
• General knowledge of distribution and materials handling.
• Proven record of leadership in a work setting and/or through extracurricular activities.
• High School Diploma required; bachelor’s degree is desirable.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and utilize a pallet jack.
• Physical demands include standing, sitting, climbing, crouching/kneeling, lifting, and carting.

Desired Skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization.
• Data entry and computer literacy required.
• ORACLE knowledge and/or experience is a plus.
