Outboud Team Lead

About the role

The Team Lead will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Shipping department. This includes managing all products initially received through the warehouse and overseeing all paperwork related to that merchandise. Additionally, the position tracks performance and attendance for all personnel assigned to the shipping area, ensuring adherence to safety, organization, and cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Follow and maintain 7s Program and guidelines
• Any additional tasks that may be assigned to ensure an efficient, safe, clean, and goal-oriented work environment

Qualifications

• Demonstrated Shipping experience in a fast-paced distribution center environment
• Proven leadership experience
• Problem-solving, decision-making, planning, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Safety knowledge
• Able to perform at a fast-paced packaging environment
• Able to work accurately under stressful conditions
• Able to work overtime, holidays, weekends, different shifts, and different areas of the warehouse
• Able to follow instructions, processes, and procedures
• Able to stand/walk for long periods of time
• Able to work in a non-climate controlled environment
