Responsibilities
- Provide care and supervision to children during community outings while participating in the Out-of-School ARC program and summer school program.
- Offer age-appropriate activities that promote communication, behavioral, and social skills.
- Support individuals in developing independent living skills.
- Inform the supervisor regularly regarding the progress of individuals.
- Attend skill improvement training opportunities.
- Complete the required documentation for performance measurements in the Children’s Services Council grant.
- Provide transportation using ARC vehicles for scheduled program activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- A High School diploma or GED (or enrollment in High School or vocational program).
- Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
