Out of Hours Salaried GP

About the role

The Inverness Out of Hours Service based within East Highland Area is seeking a General Practitioner to join a welcoming, dedicated team providing medical care to a wide range of patients encountered in OOH. The role involves working with a variety of professionals including Advanced Nurse Practitioners and District Nurses, offering care from acute immediate to palliative care.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care to a diverse range of patients in the out-of-hours period.
• Collaborate with a team of professionals to deliver comprehensive medical services.
• Work flexible hours, including some Friday evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays.
• Manage various sessions as requested.

Requirements

• Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
• Experience in providing medical care in an out-of-hours setting.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Flexible availability to cover shifts outside of standard business hours.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Current GMC registration.
