OTR TECHNICIAN

About the role

This position offers dual roles, working on both OTR boom trucks and fleet trucks. The technician must have previous tire experience (5+ years) and be able to operate a boom truck with or without a tire hand.

Responsibilities

• Change all types of tires, including solid industrial press.
• Operate a boom truck with or without a tire hand.
• Maintain regular attendance.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Operate a fleet service truck, small mini boom, and an OTR boom truck with or without hands.
• Remove and replace tires and wheels from vehicles off-site.
• Service all sizes and types of tires, including large OTR and press on solids.
• Write fleet service reports and corrections.
• Work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and after-hours calls.
• Raise on-road and off-road vehicles using air hydraulic jacks.

Requirements

• Class B CDL with TIA (Trained).
• Pass an MVR with a maximum of six points.

Qualifications

• Ability to maintain regular attendance.
• Capable of written fleet service reporting and corrections.
