Job Summary

OTR Tire Technicians work offsite in a company provided service truck to service customers with all OTR tire and wheel related needs, including replacing, inspecting, repairing, and properly mounting/dismounting all OTR (construction, earthmoving, mining, agriculture, etc.) tire and wheel related products.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Age: 21 years
  • Drivers License: Valid Class C, insurable to meet company standards
  • Medical Certification: Current DOT Medical Certification
  • Certifications: Commercial and OTR TIA Certification (required within 6 months of hire), MSHA Certification (preferred)

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely service customer equipment in compliance with OSHA standards
  • Operate hydraulic jacks, power hoists, and lug wrenches to service OTR tires
  • Mount and dismount various OTR tires according to industry best practices
  • Travel up to 75% within the region to meet customer and company needs
  • Adhere to TIA standards, policies, and safety practices
