OTR Flatbed Truck driver

About the role

Responsible for driving flatbed trucks in the OTR (Over-The-Road) sector to transport various cargo loads within New Mexico. Must possess valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).

Responsibilities

• Drive flatbed trucks safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload cargo according to specifications.
• Ensure all cargo is secured and transported securely.
• Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers.

Requirements

• Valid CDL with appropriate endorsements.
• At least 2 years of relevant driving experience.
• Good physical condition and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Passing DOT physical exam.
• Proven record of safe driving practices.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Skills

• Proficient in using company vehicles and equipment.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and emergency procedures.
• Experience with cargo securing techniques.
