OTR Flatbed Truck Driver

About the role

Responsible for driving flatbed trucks to transport various cargo across different regions. Must possess a valid commercial driver’s license and meet DOT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Drive flatbed trucks safely and efficiently to deliver cargo on time.
• Load and unload cargo from trucks in accordance with safety guidelines.
• Ensure all cargo is properly secured and adheres to weight and size regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status.
• Maintain regular vehicle maintenance schedules to ensure safe operation.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
• At least 2 years of driving experience.
• Good physical condition and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Passing DOT physical exam.
• Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work varying hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Skills

• Proficient in operating a commercial truck.
• Experience with flatbed truck operations.

Pay
