About the role
Cedar Recovery Opioid Treatment Program is an outpatient treatment facility that employs an array of evidenced-based treatment modalities to provide an integrated model of care—medical, counseling, and therapeutic interventions—to treat every patient’s individual needs and promote long-term sustainable recovery from substance use disorder. While Cedar Recovery provides care for all substance use disorders, it has a primary focus on treating opioid use disorder with medications such as Methadone, Buprenorphine, and/or Naltrexone (MAT).
Responsibilities
- Assists Medical Professionals with clinical prep including collection of lab specimens, patient UDS schedule, EKG, phlebotomy, and admission data.
- Proficient computer manageability for scheduling and required documentation.
- Acts as support for the Office Coordinator and Patient Care Coordinator.
Requirements
- Effective knowledge and ability to navigate and use Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and EMR systems.
- Accountability and self-management: accepts personal accountability for work and consequences; works independently without day-to-day guidance from the supervisor; manages multiple projects to meet Cedar Recovery’s standards.
- Teamwork and leadership: collaborates with colleagues to achieve Cedar Recovery’s mission of solving the opioid epidemic and repairing communities by providing effective addiction treatment services.
- Communication: successfully communicates with employees at all levels of the organization—face-to-face, email, and other technologies; respectfully communicates with vendors, suppliers, and pharmacy representatives; fosters open dialogue and actively listens to build effective working relationships.
- Innovation and problem-solving: recommends, enhances, or implements quality improvement processes impacting Cedar Recovery’s mission; applies creative thinking to develop new solutions.
- 1 year of experience with EMR systems (preferred).
- Certified Medical Assistant (preferred).

Pay
$20 per hour
Schedule
Monday to Friday, 9:30 am–6:00 pm
