Otolaryngology/ENT Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

About the role

MercyOne Genesis provides patient and family centered care through a team-based collaborative model. This position will provide services at the MercyOne Clinton, Iowa Clinic.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive otolaryngology/ENT services
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure patient care coordination
• Prescribe medications as necessary within scope of practice
• Participate in ongoing professional development and education

Requirements

• Master’s or Doctorate’s degree from an accredited Nursing Program or Physician Assistant program
• At least 1 year or greater experience as an Advanced Practice Practitioner (APP)
• Ability to work independently and autonomously
• Unrestricted license to practice in Iowa
• Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)

Qualifications

• Experience in otolaryngology/ENT
• Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in Iowa
• Current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the field of practice
