Otolaryngology/ENT Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

MercyOne Genesis provides patient and family centered care through a team-based collaborative approach. This position offers a competitive compensation package including a $10,000 commencement bonus, 160 hours of PTO, and a CME allowance of $3,000 annually. Malpractice insurance is also provided, including tail coverage.

About the role

This position will provide services at the MercyOne Clinton, Iowa Clinic. MercyOne Clinton is located on the bluffs of the Mississippi River and serves counties in Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois. It is a Catholic, not-for-profit community health system with approximately 50,000 patient admissions annually.

Responsibilities

• Provide services in otolaryngology/ENT
• Collaborate with a team-based approach to patient care
• Autonomously manage patient care as an advanced practice practitioner
• Prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate
• Participate in ongoing professional development and education

Requirements

• Master’s or Doctorate’s degree from an accredited Nursing Program or Physician Assistant program
• Experience as an Advanced Practice Practitioner (APP) with at least 1 year or greater as a provider experience
• Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in Iowa
• Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)

Qualifications

• Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the field of practice
• Master’s or Doctorate’s degree from an accredited Nursing Program or Physician Assistant program
• Experienced as an Advanced Practice Practitioner (APP) with at least 1 year or greater as a provider experience
