About the role

The Instructional Assistant collaborates with the Special Education Liaison or Specialist to deliver specialized instruction, curriculum modification, and/or classroom accommodations needed for students to access the curriculum. The ideal candidate must be able to support students in both substantially separate and inclusion settings.

Responsibilities

• Support students with social/emotional disabilities
• Deliver specialized instruction and curriculum modifications
• Provide classroom accommodations
• Collaborate with Special Education Liaison or Specialist

Requirements

• Experience or willingness to work with children who have social/emotional disabilities
• Willingness to be trained in Crisis Prevention Intervention/Safety Care
