OTCR Business Sector Leader (Operations Technology, Cybersecurity, & Resilience) - Municipal Water

About the role

The successful candidate will lead the operations technology, cybersecurity, and resilience efforts for a municipal water sector client. This role will be based in one of the following locations: Irvine, CA / Phoenix, AZ / Sacramento, CA / Davis, CA / San Diego, CA / Concord, CA / Pleasanton, CA / Santa Rosa, CA.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational resilience and cybersecurity measures for the client's water systems.
• Oversee the integration of advanced technologies to improve efficiency and reduce risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on technology initiatives and security protocols.
• Provide technical guidance and support to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to protect critical infrastructure.
• Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in operations technology, cybersecurity, and resilience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in operations technology, cybersecurity, and/or resilience.
• Proven track record of successfully leading complex projects and managing teams.
• Experience working with municipal water systems is preferred.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO, and CMMC.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• CISSP certification is preferred.
• Experience with SCADA systems, IoT, and cloud-based solutions is beneficial.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for water utilities is advantageous.
