About the Resort
Located on the southeastern coast of the pristine island of Lāna’i, Four Seasons Resort Lāna’i is a secluded oceanfront retreat offering travelers a curated, personalized island escape. Osteria Mozza Lāna'i, led by acclaimed chef Nancy Silverton, brings signature dishes such as Nancy’s Caesar, Ricotta & Egg Raviolo, Grilled Hamachi Spiedino, and Alla Benno pizza featuring pineapple in a nod to Lanai’s heritage. Salads feature fresh lettuces from nearby Sensei Farms, while pasta is made with local eggs. Breakfast specials include Smoked Salmon Crostone, Sourdough Waffles, and Eggs in Purgatorio.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food promptly from the kitchen to the correct tables and seat positions while maintaining proper presentation and temperature
- Verify order accuracy, including completeness, modifications, allergens, garnish, and clean plating before delivery
- Coordinate dishes with table numbers to ensure smooth, accurate service
- Demonstrate food, beverage, coffee, tea, and after-dinner drink knowledge, using correct setups and vessels when presenting items to guests
- Provide warm, polite, and professional guest interactions while ensuring guest satisfaction during food delivery
- Assist with table maintenance, including clearing plates, resetting tables, and supporting teammates during busy service periods
- Perform setup and breakdown duties before and after service, including side stations, water stations, and ice buckets
- Restock and maintain par levels of water, juices, sodas, and non-alcoholic beverages
- Polish silverware and glassware to maintain service standards
- Help arrange dining room tables, chairs, and sections prior to service to optimize guest flow and reservation management
Requirements
- Legal work authorization in the United States
- Availability to work seven days a week, including holidays and weekends, with scheduled shifts varying based on need
- Tuberculosis (TB) clearance card required by the Hawaii State Department of Health
- Hawaii Food Handler’s Card required
- Maui Liquor Card preferred but not required
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and push/pull as needed during shifts
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace
- Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining professionalism and composure in a fast-paced environment
