The Caroline S. Mark Foundation has left a lasting legacy in the greater Wausau area, funding essential programs, facilities, and laser medical research. Caroline S. Mark served on the Board of Directors and Distributions Committee from 1988 to 1994, becoming the Foundation’s first female Board Chair. She also supported unrestricted giving through a challenge match that accelerated the growth of the Wausau-Marathon County Fund. Her commitment continues through the Caroline S. Mark Legacy Fund, a Community Enhancement Fund addressing significant community challenges and opportunities.
