OSP Network Designer
About the role
Responsible for performing all assigned engineering, planning and construction functions for all of the GVTC telecommunications facilities and services. The engineering, planning and construction tasks include designing, coordinating, developing financial impacts, and inspecting projects associated with Fiber-to-the-home, Hybrid-fiber-Coaxial, and copper networks. Also maintains the integrity all GVTC networks by use of sound and logical engineering practices.
Responsibilities
- Designing, coordinating, and developing financial impacts for telecommunications projects
- Inspecting projects related to Fiber-to-the-home, Hybrid-fiber-Coaxial, and copper networks
- Maintaining the integrity of GVTC networks through sound and logical engineering practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in telecommunications engineering
- Proficiency in using engineering software and tools
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
