OSP/FTTH Construction PM

About the role

We are looking for an experienced FTTH Construction Project Manager to support fiber construction and network expansion projects in the East Brunswick, NJ area. This is a great opportunity for someone who has managed Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) or OSP fiber construction projects and is comfortable working with contractors, construction crews, engineering teams, and vendors. We are looking for someone who understands how fiber projects move from planning and construction through completion and closeout. This is a Contract position based out of East Brunswick, NJ. The position is fully onsite.

Responsibilities

• Manage FTTH fiber construction projects from kickoff through completion
• Coordinate OSP construction contractors, vendors, and field crews
• Track construction schedules, milestones, production, and project progress
• Review contractor invoices, documentation, and completed work
• Work with engineering, permitting, construction, and operations teams
• Review as-builts and construction documentation for accuracy
• Help identify construction issues and keep projects moving forward
• Provide project updates and maintain project documentation
• Perform field visits and construction oversight as needed

Requirements

• Previous FTTH / Fiber-to-the-Home project management experience
• Experience managing OSP fiber construction or broadband deployment projects
• Strong understanding of underground and/or aerial fiber construction
• Experience working with construction contractors and outside vendors
• Ability to read fiber construction drawings, prints, and as-built documentation
• Experience tracking schedules, project progress, invoices, and deliverables
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• SiteTracker experience is a plus

• GPON fiber networks
• Fiber splicing and testing
• OTDR testing and fiber acceptance
• ISP/broadband or telecommunications construction
• Fiber network expansion or edge-out projects
• HFC/coax infrastructure

Pay

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $42.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
