OSP Field Inspector

Support a national telecommunications construction contractor’s project team by performing field inspections, multitasking with multiple team members, and communicating effectively in outdoor settings.

Responsibilities

• Make daily site visits and inspect all aspects of the project.
• Report all deficiencies back to the Project Manager.
• Create redlines and punch lists daily.
• Provide organizational support to project and field managers as needed.
• Respond to requests for information from internal and external sources.
• Ensure contractors work safely and maintain high safety and quality standards.
• Walk pole and trench lines to inspect CATV/telephony line construction, including removing hand-hole covers.
• Maintain diligent notes, transfer them to daily reports, and mark up prints.

Requirements

• Proficiency in print reading, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Apple iPad.
• Valid Driver’s License (preferred).
