Job Responsibilities
- Cook up OSP fiber and broadband construction projects from initiation through closeout
- Scope projects, lay down work plans, and assign tasks to contractors
- Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Issue Notice to Proceed (NTP) documentation
- Conduct pre-construction and post-construction field walkouts
- Oversee aerial and underground construction activities (boring, trenching, cable placement)
- Check as-built documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Spot and settle field construction issues in real time
- Make sure ROW safety and traffic control requirements are met
- Coordinate utility locates and permits
- Keep clear lines of communication with contractors, vendors, and clients
- Support final project documentation and client invoicing
Job Qualifications
- Two plus years of experience in OSP, telecom, or broadband construction coordination
- Working knowledge of fiber optic and coaxial network systems
- Familiarity with underground and/or aerial utility construction environments
- Familiarity with utility locating laws and permitting processes
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and project tracking tools
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Valid driver’s license
- Able to pass a background check and drug test
- Experience supporting multi-state or regional fiber deployments preferred
