OSP Construction Manager - Memphis, TN
About the Role
Congruex is seeking an experienced OSP Construction Manager to lead and oversee outside plant (OSP) fiber construction projects in the Memphis, Tennessee area. This leadership role focuses on oversight of subcontractor operations, construction quality, production tracking, and project documentation rather than direct day-to-day crew supervision.
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead field supervisors across multiple construction projects.
- Oversee 15-25+ subcontractor crews performing aerial and underground fiber construction.
- Direct all aspects of OSP construction operations for large-scale FTTH and broadband deployment projects.
- Monitor project schedules, milestones, budgets, and productivity metrics.
- Conduct field walks and inspections to verify construction quality and project completion.
- Review and approve redlines, as-builts, production reports, and billing documentation.
- Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.
- Track project progress and ensure deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
- Partner with internal teams, customers, and stakeholders to address project needs and resolve issues.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, customer requirements, and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Current or recent experience as an Outside Plant (OSP) Construction Manager or Construction Project Manager overseeing fiber construction projects.
- Experience managing multiple subcontractor crews in a telecommunications or utility construction environment.
- Proven FTTH (Fiber-to-the-Home) construction experience.
- Experience managing large-scale fiber deployment projects involving at least 20,000 to 50,000 homes passed.
- Experience managing a team of at least 3-5 supervisors.
- Demonstrated oversight of 15-25+ subcontractor crews.
- Strong knowledge of aerial and/or underground fiber construction methods.
- Experience with project documentation, including redlines, as-builts, production tracking, and billing/invoicing documentation.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Live in the Memphis area or have a demonstrated ability and willingness to relocate.

Pay
Competitive salary: $75,000 - $95,000.
