Quick Summary About the Global Partnerships Manager Role
The Global Partnerships Manager is responsible for generating new revenue through long-term partnerships with local and regional brands. Key responsibilities include prospecting and generating business, creating proposals, managing activations, and maintaining relationships with partners.
What the Global Partnerships Manager Will Do
- Possessing the ability to research and network within the business community to sell marketing platforms such as signage, print, promotions, community involvement, and hospitality
- Developing dynamic proposals that align with the Osceola Magic's brand while maintaining integrity
- Creating new sales opportunities and activation presentations for partners, and tracking proof of performance
- Acting as the primary point of contact for selected partners, providing consistent communication and excellent customer service
- Delivering high-quality activations for partner assets throughout the season, collaborating with Marketing and Game Operations departments on creative assets, and integrating them with Osceola Magic's business
- Maintaining detailed records in CRM to support sales and execution efforts
- Fostering and maintaining positive relationships with the client base through various touchpoints including phone calls, emails, and in-game/appointments
- Collaborating with Orlando Magic Legal to develop contracts and ensuring proper business protocols for partnerships
- Working closely with the Ticket Sales Team, Osceola Heritage Park Staff, and other game staff to enhance the game day experience for all fans
- Generating reports for internal stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience required, with a minimum of two (2) years of proven sales or related work experience
- Bilingualism is highly valued
- CRM experience is strongly preferred
- B2B sales experience, particularly in the sports or entertainment industry, is strongly preferred
- Ability to work all Osceola Magic home games plus a select number of non-Magic events, including evenings and weekends, and be on-call as necessary
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and other related computer skills
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
- Strong organizational, time management, and attention to detail skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on business writing
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects
- Ability to work independently without supervision, be self-directed, and demonstrate initiative
- Strong team synergy skills and ability to collaborate with others regardless of direct authority
- Excellent interpersonal relationship-building skills and the ability to make good judgments and decisions
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends and be on-call as necessary based on departmental priorities
