OS&D Representative

About the role

This position performs quality control inspections on freight shipments, fields calls about delivery discrepancies, and contacts customers to resolve problems.

Responsibilities

• Field calls from Drivers regarding delivery discrepancies
• Contact customers and other terminals to resolve OS&D problems
• Assist in projects as needed by terminal management
• Scan and type OS&D related bills
• Assist in inspecting and tagging OS&D freight on the dock
• Provide backup to appointments and bring backs

Qualifications

• Ability to interface effectively with Pyle personnel and customers
• Previous dock and/or warehouse operations experience preferred
• Strong communication skills; ability to demonstrate a customer-first mentality
• Strong attention to detail
