Education
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Orthotics and Prosthetics; Master’s degree preferred.
- Must be licensed by the Arkansas Board for Orthotics and Prosthetics.
- ABCOP or BOC Certification for Orthotics, Prosthetics and Pedorthics required.
Training and Experience
- Three (3) or more years of work experience with Durable Medical Equipment.
- Knowledge of prefabricated orthotics is strongly preferred.
Job Knowledge
- Must have a complete understanding of diagnoses, orthotic prescription, measurement, fitting and follow up of all types of orthotic devices.
- Must have excellent communication skills and be highly organized.

Description
- The Certified Orthotist / Prosthetist will work directly with Physicians, therapists, and all health and allied health professionals to design, measure, fit and provide follow up care for patients referred for care.
- He or she must be self-directed, able to multi-task, pay close attention to detail, and have excellent interpersonal / customer service skills.
